Daily Mail - A new kind of morning buzz: Jack Daniel’s offers a non-alcoholic whiskey-flavored coffee line

  • Jack Daniel's coffee has the 'caramel and vanilla notes' of its whiskey in each sip
  • The beverage was created through a partnership with World of Coffee Inc
  • The coffee is non-alcoholic and smells like Jack Daniel's whiskey

Jack Daniel's is looking to be a staple on your night out as well as during your hangover cure routine.

The Tennessee whiskey brand announced it is selling a non-alcoholic coffee that tastes like its whiskey.

The 150-year-old booze giant partnered with World of Coffee Inc to bring whiskey fans the taste of the liquor with a different kind of buzz.

Jack Daniel's new coffee line has the 'distinct caramel and vanilla notes of Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey'

For $21.95, Jack fans can order an 8.8oz collectible tin of coffee beans.  Or, for $6.95 they can enjoy a small 1.5oz bag of coffee.

To compare, an 8.8oz can of medium roast Folgers coffee costs $4.19 at Target.

The website says: 'The distinct caramel and vanilla notes of Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey are evident in each sip.'

It was not disclosed if the hot beverage smells more like coffee or whiskey to judgmental colleagues.

The new product was launched in December for the holiday season. In a press release, the president and owner of World of Coffee said: 'We use the best tasting and highest quality coffees in the world and now add to that the authentic taste and aroma of Jack Daniel’s.'

'We take a lot of care and pride in the coffee products we craft and Jack Daniel’s Coffee is no exception.'

It was initially sold in Lynchburg Hardware and General Store in Tennessee and has since rolled out nationwide through the Jack Daniel's website.

There is also a decaffeinated version of the coffee beans.
